        "I have had a gym membership for many years, with limited results as I struggled to attend regularly or push myself on my weak areas. A year after the birth of my daughter I was still a stone over my pre pregnancy weight. I was beginning to resign myself to my new rounded figure when I took up the challenge of a personal training session with Alex. Alex was very motivating and helped me focus on achieving my goals with nutritional advice and designing specialised workouts for postural correction and building up my core.

        Alex provides a challenging session but always keeps the banter going to ensure the sessions are fun. I have dropped the stone and have achieved a far firmer, fitter body than I had prior to my pregnancy.

        Since taking the BioSignature course I have dropped from 22% body fat to 17% body fat within 3 weeks, mainly from those difficult hip areas which in the past never seem to move. The diet is tough at first and takes willpower but the results I have achieved so far have been excellent, it does help having to report into Alex each week.         "I had been a member of the gym for several years but without any significant results - it was becoming a waste of money and of time. I was getting bigger, more unfit and more unhealthy with each passing day. I'm a type one diabetic, so it is crucial for me to stay in shape. As a last ditch effort, I took, for me, the brave decision to try out a personal trainer. I had to overcome the fear of having to talk to somebody for a whole hour whilst dripping miserably in sweat! Alex's CV was slightly different from the others as it had some humour in it - serious but not over-serious. So I took the plunge with Alex twice a week from September 2009, enhancing it with the biosignature course for 12 weeks from January 2010.

        One of Alex's favourite sayings is that he is results based. The results speak for themselves. In the eight months we have been working together, I have lost well over a stone; lost 9 percentage points of body fat; my blood pressure has dropped by over 15 points; and my diabetes is the most stable it has ever been. Apart from that, I feel good and people are beginning to look at me in a new light. I am particularly pleased by the advice Alex has given me on nutrition and its effect on my blood sugars. Little changes to my diet and lifestyle have had significant impact.

        To be fair, you have to be committed and work hard. Results don't come overnight as this is a continuous process. Alex pushes me hard and sometimes he has to because I'm really not in the mood, but that quite wicked sense of humour of his usually pulls me through - just! One of the best decisions I have made. Ever. I'd thoroughly recommend Xander Conditioning to anyone."

     "I have benefitted from personal training with Alex Chaple for almost two years. I chose Alex to be my personal trainer as he was highly recommended to me by another of his clients who has a habit of identifying talent in others. I take a very keen interest in sport, nutrition and fitness myself so approach exercise and diet with a lot of enthusiasm and a good knowledge base. That said, I am constantly impressed by the level of bespoke service and commitment offered by Alex. I had never ever considered using a personal trainer before, mostly due to the expense and risk that I might not achieve real value for money. Alex has dismissed any doubts I ever had about that and demonstrated that he is a diamond amongst what frankly is a saturated market place.

      Alex has offered me a fresh and distinct approach to training in the gym. Rather than slog for thirty minutes on the treadmill or the bike he has shown me how to maximse my time and effort by doing interval training for example. Through weight training and the Biosignature course he offers, I have reduced my body fat by ten per cent and my weight by seven kilos.

      One particular and very impressive attribute Alex possess is the ability not to patronise, condescend or make you feel guilty if you have strayed from his advice or recommendations, particularly on the BioSignature course. He is a professional in the true sense of the word. Alex also has the ability to push you to lift more weights than you thought possible and to motivate you to try harder.

      Every penny spent on employing Alex as a personal trainer is money invested in yourself with immense dividends paid out in terms of better health and fitness."
