We are now well in to February and, for most, resolutions can be eaily forgotten while they fall back in to old habits. You may notice that your local gym is not quite as busy as it was toward the end of January and all your friends/relatives are beginning to fall off the wagon with regard to the diets or fitness routines that they started at the beginning of the year. Staying focused on your goal is so important in fat loss! There are so many who do not or can't push themselves right to the end of what it is they want from their physique and seem to find themselves disappointed time after time.
I'm sure you have heard almost as many "reasons" as I have as to why someone couldn't commit to a fat loss routine they started such as work being too busy or the classic "I'm going to going to start in X amount of weeks once Y is over and done with". In truth, there is never a perfect time to start. There will always be new challenges and stressors that come in to our lives on a regular basis. A fat loss regime must become as much a part of your daily life as going to work or brushing your teeth if it is to work in the long run.

This trainee trained consistantly and ate well for 12 weeks to achieve these great results - and continues to improve now!
To truly get great fat-loss results you need to commit yourself to a well structured training regime designed to your own needs, a nutrition plan that is built for you - can fit in to your life and is sustainable over time. Most importantly, you should seek out the advice and guidance of an expert. With those I work with I very quickly noticed a direct correlation between the frequency I meet with them and the speed and consistency at which they lose body fat. This is not a simple correlation between training more and losing more, as very often those I see infrequently will train many times on their own in between our sessions but still not achieve as much as those I see often. Consistency throughout the whole process is so important!
Make sure that if losing body fat and getting in shape is something you really want; keep the end goal in mind every day. Adhering to a healthy lifestyle has to become a part of your life for the long term. Don't spend any more time putting off or sabotaging what your really deserve!
