       As a trainer, I visit gyms all the time in various locations around the UK and even some internationally. I love them! To me, a gym is almost a church for fitness. Many argue that you can do more for your health in the gym than you can in a doctor's office these days (and I agree with them). People go to gyms to invest time and money in their health, physique and fitness levels. If you get it right, not a single second of time or a single pound spent in the gym is a waste. You can create a better life for yourself through the gym. You can fight disease, learn how to eat properly and add years to your life. However, there are those who do not (or choose not) to take advantage of this.
