Dietary supplementation is fast becoming known for the valuable asset it can be for one's health, fitness, strength, brain function and general well being. Whilst once frowned upon by the general public, seeing it as somehow ethically questionable, supplemental nutrients are now taken as common practice by any health professional worth his salt (pardon the expression).

The latest use the media has highlighted for dietary supplementation is cosmetic improvements. If you read the ingredients of any decent skin cream, moisturiser or body scrub you will find listed one or more vitamins and minerals (perhaps in the form of a plant extract) and with very good reason.
